Gavin is so lucky to have grandparents on both sides who adore him to pieces. His Guinea and Grandpa came all the way out from Oregon just to hang out with him for a few days, and it's the fifth time they've visited him since he was born. I'd say Gavin's about due to make the trip out to Oregon soon to reciprocate!

Let it be said that I was up at 5:45am and the first thing I did was write on my blog. I have a thousand things that must get done before Gavin wakes up in a half hour, but here I am typing away. Ugh, I'm so counterproductive. But at least the blog doesn't suffer!
And let me leave you with a little bit of light reading. One of my favorite graphic designer/bloggers recently had a baby, and she hired a post-partum life coach. Here is an exchange of emails between them, mostly about her decision to send her boy to daycare, but I think they bring up many good points about motherhood that would benefit moms, new and old, near and far. Talking about the work-life balance, moms doing it all, etc, etc, is basically beating a dead horse. We've all heard about this far too much. But these ladies offer some fresh perspective, and when you're in the thick of raising an infant and you like to soak up every bit of information you can find like me, well then it's worth the read.
The Daycare Dilemma
(The part about the 'light' reading was a trap to actually get you to read. It's actually quite a long read.)
