We packed a lot into the last couple of days, and I must say that yesterday was the best day we'd ever spent with Gavin. Naps...temperament...everything. All day long. It was glorious. As Gavin gets older, everything gets a bit easier. Little by little. We've certainly had some milestone moments, too. Being Baby G's mom is an incredible gift, and I'm ready to enjoy this time in our lives the way it is meant to be enjoyed.
Today did not go as smoothly. Morning nap was fine, but then we were out and about, and Gavin was exhausted. He fell asleep as soon as he was put in his carseat and was then promptly woken again to do some more stuff in the afternoon. But all in all, not too bad, especially because Gavin's favorite person (and mine)...his dad...has been here with us.

It's been a fantastic couple of days, and we've gotten a lot accomplished, whether together or separately. The gym, shopping at Kierland, Trader Joe's, a great bike ride, mattress shopping, lunch at True Food with Sarah, Aaron and the twins, and a stop to visit Dylan's co-pilot and family are what filled my two days. Second weekend, you've proven yourself to be my most favorite time of the week, time and time again.
