Super Thankful

It was a great day. I went on an early bike ride, baked some pies and sweet potatoes, and watched the parade. Dylan barely escaped the snow storm in New York the day before, and he was home with us, too. We hit my parents' house for dinner with a few of our relatives, and overall it was a really great time.

Mom needs to bake = Gavin gets planted in front of the parade. (Don't mind our temporary cement floor.)

Black Friday was a regular ol' work day, minus the fact that I encountered less traffic on the freeway than what I'd typically see at midnight. Except that I'm never typically on the road at midnight (or awake for the matter), but you catch my drift. Gavin stayed home with Dylan, and I received the following photo via text midway through my work day.

So, the climbing crackdown is in full force, and I'm hoping this phase ends as quickly as it began. I picked up Mexican take-out on the way home...just in case we hadn't packed in enough calories on Thanksgiving...and met the boys at the park. Their shenanigans continued into the night when I encountered the following situation. Our couch and everything in the living room has been shoved into the kitchen until the tile is done, so please excuse our mess.

The weekend has kicked off with more fun, but I'll fill you in another time when it's not creepin' so close to my bedtime.
