After the most mediocre of weekends (Dylan was gone, G and I ran errands, went to a baby shower etc. Also, he was a teething hot mess), we have had a great couple of days around here. If only this crazy wind would calm down, I could take off on some outdoor adventures.
Yesterday I started off at the gym, then I took a Gavin hand-off on my way out at 9am so Dylan could take his turn working on his fitness with my bro, and G and I headed to Costco. I mentioned that he loves shopping, right? He LOVES Costco, and he also loves going through the car wash. And I love being at Costco at 9:30 on a Tuesday because it's not an insane zoo of lunatics like usual. Wins all around. Then I worked on a creative project for an anniversary gift for my one and only. Then we actually got G down for a solid nap and had to wake him to make a 3pm appointment. Darn. Then we had friends over for kebabs on the grill. Full and fun, friends and family. What could be better?

Blueberries for breakfast + tantrum = huge mess |

Smiles and muscle tees for the car |

Cousins helping cousins |

I want that, and that, and that, and that. |

Bookworm in the making |
Today is starting off much the same. You wouldn't believe the bargaining that goes on around here so that both Dylan and I fit in an ample number bike rides before it gets too hot out. "If you take the baby now and I go on a quick ride, then I'll take him on Sunday so you can go," kind of thing. It's our new favorite thing. I keep saying it's as fun as skiing, except you can go right out the front door and you don't have to buy an expensive lift ticket. Except skiing is still awesome. I'm just trying to make myself feel better about the fact that I didn't hit the slopes for a single day this past winter. Ha, oh well. Anyhow, we've got fun, friends, and fitness on the agenda. Life is nice.
