It was Gavin's first Easter, and I don't think he knew much difference from any other day...but we sure enjoyed it! He received a large basket from us. Mostly full of the things I would have bought him anyway over the last few weeks...a pool float, some feeding things, clothes, and a print for his room. What a lucky guy. Nonna and Papa, though, hooked him up with a sweet personalized Easter basket, an egg with his name on it, and a really cool toy that lights up and makes noise. His favorite!
We headed across the street for breakfast and for the boys to do an egg hunt. After that, it was off to the park to see our extended family. The kids had a blast running all over the place, I enjoyed seeing my cousins, and the food was top notch, as it always is when Aunt Lucy has anything to do with it.

Oh some good stuff. That's more like it. |

The new print for his room. A gift for him...or for me? The jury is still out. |

As for the first part of the weekend? That was pretty sweet, too. Julia came to watch Gavin in the morning on Saturday while Dylan and I took off on a long bike ride followed by pizza slices for lunch. We started the movie Nebraska last night and hope to finish it in the near future. Pretty low key, but just the way I like it!
