G2 Has Arrived!

We are so happy to welcome Mr. Graham Houston Miller to the family! He entered the world 10 days early on 12/15/15 at 11:33pm. At 7lb 13oz and 21 inches long, he is a smidge smaller than his older brother. He is the most scrumptious little bean, and we are so happy to have him here. Everyone is doing well after what can only be described as the most intense day of all of our lives. Big Brother Gavin is adjusting well, which is probably due to all the attention he's been getting from family. Sleep is difficult to come by, but our spirits are high, and we are taking it easy.

Sweetest little guy.

Meeting baby brother for the first time.

We stopped at the pediatrician in the morning and back to Babymoon in the afternoon yesterday, where everyone was declared healthy. What more could you want?

Dylan has even fit in a viewing of the new Star Wars movie with his dad and brother since the arrival of G2. They had already planned to fly out here for the big event, and having the baby at home was an added bonus. Gavin was thrilled to see Uncle Cody and Grandpa. It was a fun little visit. As for me, I'm just a Milk Factory, spending lots of time in PJs but bound and determined to shower and get dressed at some point each day. I've enjoyed lots and lots of newborn snuggles, and I'm super appreciative for the help of family.

When we unexpectedly discovered we'd be having a baby on Tuesday, Gavin was at Dawn's. My rockstar SIL Kristin picked him up there in the afternoon, and Gavin spent the night with "cousins." His all-time favorite thing. She had four boys under 6 all by herself for the night. That's a lot of work. My parents showed up to the birth center and my mom was there to witness some serious labor and delivery while dad chilled in the living room area. My mom has been so helpful with Gavin so that we can rest as much as possible. Gavin hung back with Grandpa and Cody while we went to the pediatrician and ran errands...and everyone has just been awesome.

Who is the happiest guy to be having dinner with cousins?

I'd say he was happy with who came to pick him up from daycare.

Funny faces with Aunt Krissy.

Playing piano with Papa. Look at Gavin's hand on his leg.

New tow truck toy!

Labor and delivery story to come. Be prepared for some possible TMI. I promise to keep the incredibly graphic photos that were recently sent to me carefully hidden, though.
