We kept our #1 husband/dad by our side all weekend long, and it was so good! We took it easy for the first half, and then we went for a staycation at the Westin Kierland. Dylan worked his magic and got us upgraded to a suite, which was perfection. After playing at the lazy river and pool, we put the boys to bed...Graham in a crib and Gavin in the lizard cave, AKA the closet floor. We had our own room to eat carry-out Postino and watch (20 minutes of) a movie. Dylan and Gavin hit the pool again in the morning, while Graham took a nap and I caught a rare hour of peace and quiet. Then, it was back home for a couple hours before heading over to the Johnsons' new house for a pool party. We all had fun catching up with friends and, of course, eating. Gavin had a great time, and it was hard to tear him away from Blake and Zach's trucks and tractors, but he was completely spent.

This guy has turned into a big time mover and furniture cruiser. |

Performing a concert with the guitar that he accurately identified as "the gift from Drew." Thanks, Drewie and Chris! |

I can't really remember the circumstances leading up to this. |

A trip to the gym turned into a last minute trip to Toyota after my car barely started from the very last spark the battery could muster. The boys were well-behaved, and we drove home after an hour with a healthy battery under warranty. Not so bad. |

This guy has been super needy lately, but still very smiley. Love little Mr Jiggs |

I took my little buddy to run errands, which he turned into a game of Hide and Seek. I was happy to play along, though I'm not sure it was entirely appropriate behavior. |

As usual, traveling via wagon. |

Kicking back with a beverage |

Poolside Mac and Cheese. What could be better? |

Perfect wading pool! |
It's back to the grind for us all tomorrow. Like, I'm really going to try my hand at the grind of the adult, working world again. But more on that later. I'm spent!
