Here I am again about to take a moment to recharge my batteries. It's amazing what a little peace and quiet can do to revive a soul. The last coupe of days were rough...not because of anything major, just a particularly grueling time at both jobs...the paying one and non-paying one, alike. For right now, Graham is napping and Dylan and Gavin are in another room...but soon I'll be the only person in the house. I'm glad to get a few hours' break, and I'm sure I'll benefit from it, as will everyone who has to talk to me.

So squeezable, so lovable. |

The only caption I have for this is that it's the time of year where putting on clothes becomes a non-priority. And walking on tables is not a problem. Maybe we should work on our manners? I suppose we could, but we probably won't. |

Everything's better together! |
Dylan flew in on Friday afternoon, and a few hours later, the boys and I met him at Isabella's. We had some friends from Oregon in town for spring training that met up with us, too. I honestly had nothing green to put the boys in for St. Patrick's Day, so Super Dad picked up some garb for everyone at Old Navy before making his way to the restaurant. The boys were perfectly behaved while we had a few drinks and caught up with Tara and Casey. We made sure to carve out a few minutes to chase the ducks on the golf course at the end.
Afterward, Tara and Casey got the airplane/airport tour, which is always great fun for the boys. We headed home for a late bedtime and a very relieved feeling that it was the weekend!

It's a looooong way up to the sky lounge! |

Such a bummer when big brother swipes your toys |

Few things are as satisfying as a Saturday morning gas station donut. |

Maybe he was upset that he didn't get a donut, too? #dangerous |

Sometimes they were clothes, even at home. |

Refreshment break. Slowly the clothes begin to peel away... |

A Graham-approved smoothie! |
Dylan will head out shortly for a riveting game of paint ball, and the boys will be leaving with him to meet up with my parents and get an early start on their overnight adventure. If I'm smart, I'll use the time to take a nap so I won't be a total bump on a log for the big party tonight!
