Our sweet boy is now 8 months old. He's the size of a 2-year-old, as loud as his dad, cuter than a button, and has more energy than a hummingbird. He scoots so fast I can't look away for a second. His favorite things are the blue hose and the blue exercise ball. But really, he loves all things. If he can put it in his mouth, he loves it. He is into EVERYTHING. As Dylan said, when he got home from work this afternoon, "I've never before seen a creature that literally never sits still for a second." A little explorer no doubt.
He's a fantastic errand runner. He does better on the go than just staying at home because he loves being in motion and seeing things and people and activity.
He has his two bottom teeth, but with the snot, drool, and constant chewing, it's evident that more are soon to come. His hair is long and wild and puffy, but I think it's so funny. He gets boogers stuck in it a lot. And he still has those bright blue eyes. I think they're here to stay!
This is what Gavin does while we're at home and I'm taking care of things around here. (Or blogging.)

Plays in dog kennels

Chases balls

Plays with food in his high chair. This technique usually buys me at least 3 minutes before he gets needy again.

Plays with empty water bottles underneath jumpers.

Messes with our television programs
I think it might be time to pony up and buy a new TV stand. I don't see any other way around the constant problem seen above. Ugh, I'd so much rather buy about a million other things for the house than that...but what can you do?

Whatever it takes to keep him occupied...
Here is our big 8-month old. I have better pictures, too, that will come to light after I do a photo dump from the big camera.
I think that just about sums up our crazy, precious, energetic little human.
