And Real Quick...the Weekend

It was a whirlwind. Dylan missed his flight on Friday, so on Saturday he managed to fit in all of the following activities with lights out by 10pm: a 5-hour flight home, moving two dressers, two nightstands, two chairs, a bench and a king size bed back into our bedroom, and a drive to and from Prescott for the Courthouse Lighting.

I took care of all the other details, and we were on the road by 1:45pm for Prescott. We were happy to see Geoff and Hope's big, beautiful new house on top of the hill and meet up with a bunch of our friends. Goodness gracious, there were so many little kids, and it was so much fun! Gavin did well in the car and slept the whole way home. He was super wiggly during the Courthouse Lighting, and with hundreds (thousands?) of people crowding the town square, it wasn't like we could let him go free. Luckily, someone was selling obnoxious glowsticks for $2, and that helped to keep him occupied. What a fun Christmas tradition and a fantastic excuse to drink bourbon spiked cider.

Yayyy

Gavin wants DOWN

Go ahead, eat some styrofoam

Loves the Christmas lights

Hats off!

At a rave?

Hmmm, other than that, I scurried around like crazy to put my house back together today, and I was so thankful I didn't have to get in the shower by 6:30am to beat the start of the tile work. The floors look awesome, but I have a few more things to do around here. Like, get a huge rug for our room. It really needs a rug. Oh, and also I dropped my phone and shattered the screen on our walk this morning, so there's that.

Holding onto Joe for the entire walk

Finally giving me some help with the dogs.

Where's Gavin?

Okay, lunches don't pack themselves. Peace out.
