Last Week Today

First, Happy Mother's Day! We had a great morning here. The family came over for brunch, and now G is down for a nice, long nap. (He owes us after completely refusing a nap all together yesterday.) I am grateful for the little guy who made me a mom.

I don't have too much to report from this end. Dylan grew a really long goatee as a testament to how long it's been since he's flown, which is a good thing. (The not-flying...not the goatee.) We had a family fun day at the zoo at one point. Gavin was obsessed with the monkeys, and repeated "Monk-Ney" over and over. G took in an extra day at Dawn's on Tuesday while we went out on the town, enjoying a meal out and a movie at Camelview. Sarah and Aaron were in town from DC, so we were able to take our bikes out for a spin and ride to their house to say hello to the Torrance family yesterday. Other than that, we've just spent a lot of time in the backyard and doing all the other usual things we do. I've been down with a weird cold/sinus infection/cough thing for a really long time and made myself just chillax until it went away. I was happy to finally get back in the gym yesterday, but it did feel nice to just take it easy and get some extra sleep!

Swim lessons with Dad!

Creating a masterpiece.

He makes this crazy face when a song comes on that he likes.

Taking in the view. Everything's normal.

Something's so exciting!

Zoo splash pad.

Getting a sip of Dad's diet cherry limeade.

A trip to IKEA. So fun!

In love with this stuffed goose.

Gavin's first rhino ride!

Another bike ride!

The agenda is booking up for the week ahead. Should be good times!
